W/R: Final year Gwiraman SHS Student dies at Essikado Hospital

A 21 year old student of Gwiraman Senior High School in the Nzema East District of the Western Region , Nathaniel Yankey has died under bizarre circumstance at the Essikado Government Hospital. His death occurred today, Wednesday, July, 15.

Yankey, according to reports, last Saturday, complained of severe headache whilst in school, and pleaded he should be allowed to go home, but was refused by the school authorities.

Nathaniel Yankey, looking very weak and pale, later run away my from school to his parents. He was immediately sent to the hospital, but he died at the facility.

Mother of the deceased, Mena Araba is blaming the school authorities as those behind the death of her Son.

According to her, the teachers should have informed her of her ward’s situation and allow him to come home for treatment.
