4th edition: Western Music Awards Organizers increase number of seats and change venue to accommodate more

Westline Entertainment, organizers of Western Music Awards have announced that they have increased the number of patrons they inted to host at the fourth edition of the prestigious awards slated for Saturday 26th September, 2020.

This is as a result of feedback from stakeholders in the Creative Arts Industry upon announcement of the date and venue for the 4th edition suggesting that they (Westline Entertainment) review the number of patrons they intend to host.

“We have received a lot of calls and messages from industry players who have advised that we review the number of patrons that we intend to host at the 4th edition upwards. The initial plan was to host only the nominees and a member each from their team but upon the feedback and further consultation, we have reviewed the number to 600, from the initial 300 in order to give room for other key stakeholders in the industry to partake in the 4th edition” Nana Kwesi Coomson, Public and Media Relations Officer for Westline Entertainment revealed.

“The review of the number of patrons therefore demands that we change the venue from the multipurpose hall of Anaji Choicemart to a place that can accommodate the 600 patrons with enough social distancing and COVID-19 etiquette in place. The new venue is therefore Best Western Plus Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi, where we have hosted the event since its inception 3 years ago” Mr. Coomson added.

Limited tickets would be sold to the general public at GHc100.00 and table for 6 at GHc1,000.00. Tickets are sold at Anaji Choicemart in Takoradi.
