Hon. Joseph Cudjoe gives $1,000 cash prize to 2020 Western Music Awards Artiste of the year

The Deputy Minister of Energy who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Effia, Hon. Jospeh Cudjoe has presented a cash prize of $1,000 to Fameye who won the ultimate Artiste of the year at the just ended Western Music Awards held last weekend.

The MP who is known for his dedicated support to the Creative Arts Industry did not only present the cash prize to the Artiste of the year but also paid for the venue of the awards and supported the organizers of the prestigious awards, Westline Entertainment with enough money to organise this year’s awards.

“I have $100 for all winners from my Constituency” Hon. Cudjoe added.

“For the timely intervention of Hon. Joseph Cudjoe who paid for this venue and also supported us with money, the 2019 efforts of the Creative Arts Players would have gone unrewarded. Honourable, thank you and God bless you” Public and Media Relations Officer for Westline Entertainment, Nana Kwesi Coomson said in a speech at the awards ceremony held at the Best Western Plus Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi.
