200 NDC members defect to NPP in Kwahu

ABOUT 200 supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress at Kotoso in the Kwahu East Constituency of the Eastern Region have ditched their party, for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

This came to light when the area, District Chief Executive, Isaac Agyapong, Constituency Chairman, Isaac Kwaku Addo, and other constituency executives stormed the community to engaged the residents on one on one campaign.

The group noted that their defection to the NPP was compelled by the good policies of the Akufo-Addo government, especially the flagship Free Senior High School policy among other development projects in their constituency.

The group also vowed to ensure that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo wins massively in their constituency as well as maintaining their MP with an overwhelming victory.

Isaac Agyapong, Kwahu East DCE, received the defected members from the biggest opposition party, with open arms as the country gears towards election come December 7.

Addressing the group, Isaac Agyapong emphasized that the people of Kotoso should change their pattern of voting come 2020.

He reiterated that Kotoso has been voting for NDC all these years but can’t boast of any developmen project in the area but just in three and half years under the NPP government numerous projects have been executed.

He charged the electorate to reject NDC and their parliamentary candidate and vote massively for NPP.
