My focus this year is to empower female entrepreneurs and employers – Oil and gas professional Yaa Amoako-Adu

Oil and Gas professional and Philanthropist Yaa Amoako-Adu says empowering the next generation of women entrepreneurs and employers is her greatest priority this year.

Yaa Amoako-Adu who became a local partner to an International third-party inspection company in the Oil and Gas sector at age 33 posits that it is possible to achieve any dream when one works hard towards it.

Recognizing the contribution of mentorship in the careers of young ladies, Yaa believes with her network of astute female professionals, they can raise the next generation of employers and entrepreneurs.

The 2020 ‘Ghana 40 Under 40 Awards’ recipient has revealed that together with her team, they will roll out summits for the females to equip them with the requisite skills.

Ms. Amoako-Adu began her career path in oil and gas industry in 2008; her first employment appointment in the sector was an Administrative Assistant for Global Energy Ventures, a British based Company. She later became the Operations Secretary in the company.
