Egyapa Mercer to face appointments committee today

Deputy Minister designate for Energy, Andrew Egyapa Mercer is one of the Deputy Ministerial nominees to face the appointments committee of Parliament for their vetting today Monday June 7.

The others are Deputy Minister-Designate for Education, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, Deputy Minister-designate for Lands and Natural Resources, George Mireku Duker, and Deputy Minister-designate for Health, Tina Mensah.

The Committee has already vetted some nominees including Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance Charles Adu Boahen and Abena Osei-Asare, Deputy Nominee for Finance.

The screening exercise is expected to end on the 15th of June.
