Road drain covers in Sekondi-Enam Ase stolen

Iron drain covers, covering road drains in Sekondi-Enam Ase, of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis has been stolen by some unknown men.

According to Baba Salami, the assemblyman in the area who spoke to Skyy Power 93.5FM’s Nana Yaw Kumi, the covers that was stolen covers drains in the middle and side of the roads which he is shocked that a person could commit such an offence knowing very well, it can cause a serious accident.

He made it known because of what had happened, he had to stand in the middle of the road to direct traffic in order to prevent any accident from happening.

Also, he did his own personal investigation by going to every scrap dealer in the community to search if he could find any of the iron covers since he believes that would be the last destination of the materials after been stolen.

However, he is pleading with the general public and anybody who has any information concerning the iron covers to contact him in order to get the drain covers back to help prevent any accident or life loss.
