Kofi Kinaata sponsors winners of 4 categories at 2021 Western Music Awards

Multiple award winning Artiste Kofi Kinaata, real name Martin KingArthur on Saturday 7th August sponsored winners of four (4) categories at the Western Music Awards.

Philosopher as he is nicknamed gave GHc 1,000 each to winners of New Artiste of the year, Best Radio DJ of the year, Highlife Song of the year and Entertainment Review Show of the year.

According to the ‘Things Fall Apart’ crooner, these selected categories are of intimate interest to him. “New Artistes need to be motivated by words and some logistics to help their promising journey. We all know the impact of DJs to the career of Artistes so they need to be supported as well. Highlife is notable genre of Ghana and as an Artiste who is identified with Highlife, I think it is in the right direction to choose that category to sponsor and also Entertainment Review Shows have some impact on the industry so it is also of interest to me” Kofi Kinaata’s reasons for the selected categories he sponsored.

This will be the second time the Team Move boss is sponsoring winners of the awards scheme.  Last year, he sponsored four categories with GHc1,000 and Beats by Dre headsets.
