Tarkwa: Popular prophetess beheaded

A 37-year-old prophetess, Mrs Rose Boafo Ampofo has been killed by unknown persons at Akyempim, a suburb of Tarkwa in the Western Region of Ghana.

According to reports, She is the founder of Word of Knowledge Church.

This was disclosed by the Divisional Crime Officer, Tarkwa Police Command, Supt Kusi Appiah, in an interview with the media.

Supt Kusi Appiah explained that the incident happened on Monday, November 15 at about 2:30 pm.

According to him, they had information that about six men came to the area of the incident in a taxi and after their operation, they sped off without any trace.

Supt Kusi made it known the deceased was discovered in a pool of blood by the husband when he went searching for her in their house after a church member came asking for her.

Upon his discovery, he started to scream for help which Neighbours came around and the police were called and the body was conveyed to the mortuary for autopsy.
