Black Sherif is the future – Tim Westwood

United Kingdom Disc Jockey (DJ) with over thirty-five years experience, Tim Westwood has spoken highly of ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ crooner, Black Sherif, labelling him as “the future.”

In an interview on TV3 New Day which was monitored by www.233times.net, Tim Westwood who has been instrumental in the projection of major talents around the world via his widely watched ‘Tim Westwood TV’ on BBC 1Xtra said he is proud of the talents Ghana is producing and mentioned names like Yaw Tog, Kofi Mole as some new crop of talents he is proud of after hosting them on his show in UK.

Yet to host Black Sherif on his show, Tim Westwood said that he cannot wait to host the talented Artiste and added that, he prefers to host him in his UK studio to hosting him in Ghana.

In his remarks, Sarkodie set the tone for Ghana after he hosted him in UK. The views on his Youtube channel from Ghana convinced him that ‘The Highest’ as he his nicknamed has set the tone for Ghanaian Artistes to be on his show. 

Tim Westwood who is 65 years old and has been doing the DJ job for over 45 years mentioned that Ghana has a bright future in Black Sherif whose recent song ‘Kwaku the traveller’ is making waves across the world.Tim Westwood is a British DJ and Presenter of radio and television. He presented the MTV UK Show ‘Pimp My Ride UK.’ In 2013, Westwood left BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra after nearly twenty years and returned to Capital Radio. So far Mr. Westwood has hosted Sarkodie, Medikal, Amerado, Stonebwoy, amongst other Ghanaian Artistes on his show
