Effiakuma No.9 road re-awarded – EKMA

Complaints from residents and motorists about the bad deplorable nature of the Effiakuma No. 9 road have reached the offices of authorities and the Effia Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly is seeking a lasting solution to the issue.

According to the Presiding Member of the Assembly, Mr John Davis, the road has been awarded to a new constructor after the former constructor left sight without notice.

Speaking to Skyy Headlines News, John Davis said authorities are collaborating with the Member of Parliament for Effia, Joseph Cudjoe to find a lasting solution to the poor road networks in Effia.

The presiding member for EKMA who doubles as the assemblyman for the Anaji West Electoral area, Mr John Davis said, “

“The road from Effiakuma No.9 that leads to the police station has been re-awarded to Kingspok Construction Company Limited and they mobilising to come to the site and has assured us he will start soon.”

“That road is a strategic road in the Municipality and we are all hoping it gets fixed soon… its a 5km stretch and it will last for about 3 months.”

He made it known this is not the only road that will be constructed in EKMA but several other deplorable roads that the Member of Parliament, Mr Joseph Cudjoe has lobbied to be constructed in the Municipality.
