Mr. Kwame Karikari, husband of ace Gospel Artiste, Philipa Baafi has graduated with PhD in Business Administration from the CASS European Institute of Management Studies., France
Mr. Karikari has over 20 years’ experience in Branding, Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Events and currently Corporate Social Responsibilities.
He was the Director of Marketing at the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2008) Local Organising Committee Secretariat where history was made when profit was declared for Ghana; a feat which is very rare in the history of Africa Cup of Nations.
Later his dexterity as an astute negotiator was brought to the fore when he brokered numerous sponsorship deals while working at Imajin Advertising and then Charterhouse Productions. At Media General, owners of TV3, he worked in various capacities until he left in 2017 as the Western Regional Director.
Currently, he is the Head of the Economic Empowerment Unit, GNPC Foundation, of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).
Mr. Karikari wrote thesis on ‘Allocation of Petroleum revenue in Ghana. A study of trends, influences and effects on national development.’
