Takoradi Port makes history as it receives largest bulk vessel since 1928 (PHOTOS)

The Takoradi Port in the Western Region of Ghana has received the largest bulk vessel since 1928.

This was according to an official statement released by the Takoradi Ports official Facebook page on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

The statement reads:

“The Port of Takoradi makes History again as it has received the Largest Bulk Vessel since 1928. MV Baby Hercules loaded a Record Tonnage of 106,530 metric tons of Bauxite in just five (5) days.

Thanks to the Port Expansion Project by GPHA and the installation of the Fully Automated Conveyor System at our 16 meters deep DBT.”
