The female workers’ group of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Power Queens Club, has launched a programme to empower more women to ascend into leadership roles.

Titled, ‘FemPower Outreach,’ the programme, launched at the 35th anniversary of the ECG Power Queens Club in Accra, endeavours to foster gender diversity and inclusivity within the company.

She also announced the introduction of a scholarship scheme to support the education of female student engineers by covering tuition, accommodation, learning materials, and feeding stipends.
