5 Suspects nabbed over murder of Cossy Hill Hotel Boss

The Ghana Police Service has made significant progress in their investigation into the murder of Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cossy Hill Hotel in Jirapa.

Four more individuals have been arrested in connection with the case, bringing the total number of suspects in custody to five.

The apprehended suspects, identified as Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix, and Michael Klugey, are all employees of Cossy Hill Hotel.
They are currently aiding the police in their investigation, alongside the previously arrested suspect, Kumbata Kwaku.

The circumstances surrounding the murder of Mr. Johnson, who was found in a pool of blood in one of the hotel rooms on February 11, 2024, remain unclear. In response to the incident, the Regional Crime Scene Management Team swiftly visited the place to collect crucial evidence and establish key details pertaining to the CEO’s untimely death.

To ensure a thorough and impartial investigation, the Inspector-General of Police has deployed a team of skilled investigators and experts, led by the Director-General/CID, COP Faustina Agyeiwaa Andoh-Kwofie to collaborate with the Upper West Regional Police Command.

Their primary focus is to shed light on the events leading to the tragic demise of Mr. Johnson.

The Police have reassured the public that no efforts will be spared in their pursuit of justice for the deceased CEO and his grieving family. The community has been urged to fully cooperate with law enforcement, providing any pertinent information that may assist in unraveling the truth behind this shocking incident.

The sudden loss of Eric Johnson has sent shockwaves through the local community, as he was renowned for his dedication and contributions to the growth of Cossy Hill Hotel.

As the investigation progresses, residents anxiously await answers and seek closure in the wake of this tragic event.

The Ghana Police Service appeals to anyone with information regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of Eric Johnson to step forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
