Takoradi’s Atlantic Hotel up for sale

Reliable information reaching www.233times.net is that, the famous 4-star Hotel in Takoradi, Best Western Plus Atlantic Hotel is up for sale.


According to those who spoke to this medium on the basis of anonymity, the owner of Atlantic Hotel is requesting for $25 million from potential buyers.


The hotel which is known for its exceptional facilities boasts of 200 room facility which is made up of 3 Penthouse and 6 executive suites and 24 deluxe rooms, 48 studio suites, 18 standard and 6 family chalets, 88 standard rooms and 4 rooms for drivers.


Atlantic Hotel as it is popularly called sits on a 10.6-acre land at Chapel Hill, an enviable first class residential area in Takoradi.


Guests of the hotel are treated to a beautiful sight of the Atlantic Ocean with swimming pool, children’s playground, bar, fitness centre, state of the art conference rooms, amongst other breathtaking facilities.
It is unclear as to why the owner is selling the facility but hospitality gurus have mentioned that, post Covid, no hotel has ever been sane as occupancy rate of most hotels has fallen drastically.


Post covid, any hotel which does not have a conference facility will be in a sorry state because it is one of the major, if not, the only avenue that hotels are making money from as occupancy rate has been affected.

“Occupancy has become one of the major headaches of management of almost every hotel in the world. The Conference rooms and the restaurant are the avenues that bring money to most hotels in recent time,” Hospitality gurus reveal.
