Beyonce Buys Jay-Z $40 Million Father’s Day Present

What do you buy for the guy who has everything? If you happen to be Beyonce and  you’re married to rapping mogul Jay-Z you buy them a Challenger 850.

The pop superstar presented Jay-Z  with his $40 million private jet on Father’s Day. The Challenger 850 is no  regular private jet, it features a living room, a kitchen and two full  bathrooms.

This is the exact type of present that not only keeps on giving, it keeps on  costing, the average flight comes with a fuel cost of $20,000 to $30,000 plus  the expense of hiring pilots to fly the aircraft.

Extravagant spending is nothing new for Beyonce and Jay-Z, the couple dropped  $1 million on a family friendly vehicle for little Blue Ivy and they built their  newborn daughter her very own 2000+ square foot nursery.

You may also recall that back in December 2010 Beyonce bought her husband a  $2 million Bugatti Veyron for his 41st birthday.

In January 2012 Beyonce  reportedly purchased Jay-Z a brand new pinky ring with a blue sapphire in the  middle.  The $500,000 present was given to Jay-Z as he celebrated the  re-opening of his NYC night club 40-40.

Other celebrity dad’s had more toned down Father’s Day celebrations including  Hugh Jackson who went on a stroll with his children and Gavin Rossdale who spent  time with wife Gwen Stefani and son Zuma.

Sure not all celebrities went out and spent $40 million on a private jet,  then again even some of the most powerful couples in show business do not have  the $750 million spending power of Jay-Z and Beyonce.
