Apple has officially discontinued these products

Apple has discontinued several products following the unveiling of the iPhone 16 at its annual keynote event. The new line-up, which includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, AirPods 4, AirPods Max with USB-C, and a redesigned Apple Watch Series 10, has prompted the tech giant to phase out older models.
iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max
As part of Apple’s ongoing practice of discontinuing flagship models after a year, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max have been removed from the online store. However, they will be available at Apple retail outlets with a $100 discount until the iPhone 16 release on September 20.
iPhone 13
Introduced in 2021 with key upgrades, the iPhone 13 has been discontinued, with the iPhone 14 now taking its place at the $599 price point. The iPhone 13 featured a smaller notch, improved battery life, and enhanced camera system.
Apple Watch Series 9
The release of the Apple Watch Series 10, featuring a larger display, new speaker, and a polished titanium finish, has led to the discontinuation of the Series 9. Notably, the Series 10 in the US will no longer include blood oxygen sensing, a feature that was removed in the Series 9 in late 2023.
AirPods Max (Lightning)
Apple introduced a USB-C version of the AirPods Max, retiring the original Lightning version. The new model, priced at $549, lacks features like Adaptive Audio and improved noise cancellation seen in newer AirPods Pro models.
AirPods 2 and 3
The AirPods 2 and 3 have been replaced by two variants of AirPods 4. The entry-level model, priced at $129, offers spatial audio and the H2 chip, while a $179 version includes active noise cancellation.
FineWoven iPhone Cases
After widespread criticism of FineWoven iPhone cases for their poor durability, Apple has discontinued these accessories for the iPhone 16. However, FineWoven MagSafe wallets and Apple Watch bands remain available.
Apple’s product overhaul reflects its commitment to introducing new features and designs, while clearing out older or underperforming items.
