GFA distances itself from Toppmoller’s visit to Ghana

The former Leverkusen coach has allegedly arrived in Ghana and held talks with unnamed officials, but the Ghana FA has distanced itself with such visit
The Ghana FA has denied links with the alleged presence of German coach Klaus Toppmoller in Ghana.
Over the past few weeks, the former Georgia coach has been linked with a technical director job with the Black Stars of which the Ghana FA has flatly denied.
“Maybe it is one of the Division One sides in Ghana who want to employ him but certainly not the Ghana Football Association. Kwesi Appiah still remains in charge of the team,” GFA spokesperson Ibrahim Sannie Daara said to Asempa FM.
“This is the work of agents who are toying with the media by sending journalists on a ghost chase. There is nothing in this report. Quickly disregard it.”
