Were the Supporters in Egypt to support Black Stars or Prez. Mahama?

41372976_741307It is not clear who the alleged Supporters of Black Stars were in Egypt to support. The T-Shirts some of them wore to the stadium during the Ghana-Egypt match yesterday raises eye brows and makes the questions more than the answers. Social Media did not keep mute on it as most people asked whether it was an African Presidential debate since some section of the supporters wore branded President Mahama T-Shirts with his image screen printed on them.

Perhaps the presidency’s generosity of sending some supporters to the capital of Egypt was appreciated in that way. Information gathered by www.233times.net is that some of the Officials arranged for the Mahama T-Shirts to clad the supporters in the stadium instead of that of Black Stars’ T-Shirt or T-Shirts with the 4 colours of Ghana.

Can Ghana embark on a project without political motivation? How long are Ghanaians going to be clouded in ‘partisanism’ instead of patriotism? Is this the extent to which politics has swallowed even the supporters of Black Stars?

Again who were those Supporters in the Mahama T-Shirts there to support? The Black Stars or President Mahama?
