Akyerekyerefo caution arrogant and egocentric people in new song ‘Gyae huhu’

akyerekyerefo_pix (1)“Pride goes before fall” is one parlance parents mostly caution their children in their teenage. Akyerekyerefo, the dynamic duo known in the music industry for their hit banger ‘I no dey mind’ has taken it on themselves to advice and caution fans on the predicaments of ego and arrogance.

The duo, who rap under the name Akyerekyerefo which literally means Teachers, is made up of Okyerekyereni Makorni (Richard Nartey) and Okyerekyereni Sparkles (Ranford Saltson) in an interview with www.233times.net made it known that, they have witnessed people who have fallen from greatness to nothing by wearing arrogance.

In their own words”If you are arrogant, it can obstacle a lot of chances for you especially when you are branded with arrogance. We are aware some of the people who have lost so many things in Ghana because of the arrogant brand.”

In their new song titled ‘Gyae huhu’, the duo was motivated to address this issue because according to them, other Artistes pay attention to other sectors of life like love, dance, fashion etc but few or no one has touched on the topic ‘arrogance’.

Produced by Dr.  Ray of Globewaves Studio, the song is due for release early days of next week.  Akyerekyerefo already have a single ‘I no dey mind’which is enjoying amazing airplay on the airwaves.

Speaking to their Manager Yaw Agbey-Lawson, he mentioned that, there are a lot of songs to be released but they are targeting pertinent issues for now before they concentrate on danceable songs.
