Ministry of Youth and Sports terminates contract with RLG

imagesThe Ministry of Youth and Sports has issued a report terminating its contract with local telecommunication giant, RLG.

Signed by the Chief Director of the Sports Ministry, the statement issued by Alhaji Abdulai Yakubu said:

‘’On the basis of the agreement reached between the Ministry and the company (Rlg) at the said meetings, I am directed to officially convey to you Government’s decision to discontinue or terminate the contract with immediate effect.’’


The statement is a referral to an agreement signed between the Ministry and GYEEDA for the provision of services under the Rlg Communications Module of the Agency.

”You are hereby requested to kindly continue to have engagements with the Attorney General’s Department and ministry of Justice on your liabilities to GYEEDA and ensure the refund of same to Government, the statement further added.
