Why should I regret reacting to ‘tweeaa?’; friends call me from Europe to congratulate me – DCE Barima

download (1)After rising to fame with his angry reaction to a remark he considered derogatory, Hon. Gabriel Barima even though has apologized, says he does not regret his reaction since that has awarded him applauds from friends all over the world.

In an interview, the District Chief Executive (DCE) said what is in the video clip which has gone viral does not depict the actual thing on the ground. “I saw it on the clip and the, but what is on the clip does not readily depict the picture on the ground. On the ground, I was just advising the health officers the need to be patient and help patients who come to their hospitals especially the poor ones and that is the more reason for the national health insurance” Hon. Barima said

According to him, the national health insurance scheme was introduced to help cater for the health needs of the poor ones in society so the health workers should attend to them when they are at their facility. It was during that someone said tweeaa.

“But you see the whole thing, the good side of it was not shown” Hon. Barima.

The government has said he will be sanctioned for saying he does not regret his actions.
