Read dismissal letter: Finally ‘Tweaa’ DCE sacked!

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South in the Ashanti Region, Gabriel Barima has been shown the exit from his office after publicly demanding royalties for the ‘tweeaa’ word through his intolerance it became popular.

Signed by Executive Secretary to the President; Dr. Raymond Atuguba, the dismissal statement reads “The President exercising the powers conferred on him by the Local Government Act section 204, has dismissed the DCE for Ahafo Ano South, Gabriel Barima with immediate effect.”
