Nana Akufo-Addo says God has revealed to him about his future in politics

images (4)Twice defeated Presidential Candidate of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says God has told him all that he wanted to know concerning the next step to take in his political career.

Nana Akufo-Addo told newsmen at the Kotoka International Airport late last night upon his arrival that he will publicly announce his decision once he is done consulting the elders of the party.

Thronged by hordes of party supporters, the former Attorney General said: “I thank you for the enormous love you have showed me. I told you I needed time to rest and consult God on my next line of action before leaving for the UK. I have done so. And God has told me all that I need to know. I however need to consult my elders before making that announcement public”.

Nana Akufo-Addo left Ghana for the UK in August last year for a six-month vacation after the Supreme Court threw out his election petition.

He promised to make a public statement on his future in politics after his hiatus.
