NPP members with “eczema” shouldn’t talk about corruption – Gen Mosquito

images (1)National Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, has been on the receiving end of scathing attacks, especially from the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, after accusing the current administration of corruption.

Mr. Nketia wondered why a man with “eczema” and a replica of the word corruption boldly inscribed on his face, lead a party like the NPP to talk about corruption.

He frankly labeled Mr. Obetsebi Lamptey a cheat and a twin to the word “corruption”. Speaking to Okay FM, he called on every pupil to search for the picture of Mr. Obetsebi Lamptey and keep in mind that he is the ambassador to the act of corruption on earth.

“Jake told Ghanaians when the NPP was in power that he wanted to renovate the Osu Castle. What he did was that he awarded the contract to himself and gave part to Oboshie Sai Coffie, then Information Minister. When the audit report came to parliament and we delved into the matter, his government sacked most of the auditors and transferred some. Later they returned to parliament and told parliamentarians that the report which was prepared by the auditors was just a draft”.

“This same man, when he became a minister of state, stayed in a government bungalow and when the time came for him to quit the residency….he renovated the property and sold it to himself for a pittance. I will urge the NPP to continue talking about corruption, but they should do so by sending someone with no eczema on his skin”, he advised.
