Ghanaian striker Abdul Majeed Waris has emerged as a summer transfer target to a host of English Premier League clubs including Everton.

According to French football website Foot365, the Spartak Moscow forward, who is on loan at Valenciennes, is also being courted by Newcastle, Hull City, West Brom and Leicester City who are all in the market for strikers.

Waris’ contract with Spartak Moscow expires in June 2017 but looks certain he will not return to Russia after his loan stint.

Scouts of these clubs reportedly watched him against Lyon over the weekend. Waris has scored eight goals and provided three assists since his January loan move.
