Prez. Mahama announces changes to leadership of CEPS

0,,16432637_303,00President John Mahama has announced changes to the leadership of the Customs Excise and Preventive Divison of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

Mr. Wallace Kofi Akondor, Assistant Commissioner, replaces Mr. Isaac Ofoe Apronti as Acting Commissioner effective May 5, 2014.

A letter signed by Prosper Bani, Chief of Staff copied to the Finance Minister, Seth Terkper and intercepted by Myjoyonline.com  names Frederick Gavor, Assistant Commissioner as Acting Deputy Commissioner in charge of Operations.

Mr. John Vianney Kuudamnuru also moves to the Headquarters as Head of Imports and Exports while Osman Awudu moves from Kumasi to Tema as Sector Head. Mr. Kofi Toffah, Assistant Commissioner,  moves to Kumasi as new Sector Head.

Meanwhile, Mr. Melvin Mc-Bruce, Assistant Commissioner, is to resume duties as new Head for Takoradi Sector in the Western Region.

The Office of Chief of Staff entreated the Finance to take the necessary steps to give effect to the decision by the president.
