Christian Atsu is the ‘next Pele’ – Ex-Ghana FA boss

downloadThe Chelsea on-loan youngster should be one of the players to watch at the World Cup, according to Lepowura Jawula

Ex-Ghana FA boss Alhaji M.N.D Jawula has tipped Chelsea-owned winger Christian Atsu to wow the world at Brazil 2014.

Atsu, who is on load at Vitesse Arnhem, won the Player of the Season award at the Dutch side at the close of the term.

Jawula believes the 22-year-old will take the world by storm at the global football fiesta this summer.

“Let me say on this platform that Atsu is the next Abedi Pele take it or leave it,” the football administrator told Accra-based Asempa FM. “This young lad’s best is yet to come and I believe it will begin from this World Cup that we are going.”

The former Porto and Cheetah FC winger has been instrumental for the Black Stars and a sure bet for the 2014 World Cup as Kwesi Appiah names his squad on May 12.
