There is indeed no damn business like show business – Majid Michel laments

Majid-MichelIf there is any Ghanaian Celebrity who could be described as deep in thoughts, Majid Michel first comes into mind of people who have had the opportunity to listen to him outside interview circles.

On instagram, Majid Michel has been sharing some thoughts and this piece from the Movie Icon magneted the attention of www.233times.net and we decided to share with Readers. Unedited, this is what Majid Michel wrote;

There is indeed no damn business like show business. A little Showbiz… never hurt anyone.! Showbiz is just there to give people something to talk about.

The showbiz world has to be manipulated to make it more interesting because most people’s lives are boring. People say u should read your criticism Cos it will make you a better person but it doesn’t. It just makes you a sad bitter showbiz nightmare. I do want to be in mainstream movies that are going to be seen.

I suppose it satisfies the showbiz side of me. I like to be human and not lose myself in becoming a mannequin, which people in showbiz are accused of. I always want to tell people something they don’t know about. Are you lost in a crowd of Greats? Not a single award? That’s showbiz.!

The showoffs in showbiz are as random as a slot machine… people say a lot of negative stuff about showbiz and how they won’t even let their kids go there.

If my kids DO want to get into showbiz, then so be it, cos I will never project anything on my children. And always never forget that the greatest dream killers are PARENTS.
