Lists: Prez. Mahama reshuffles four ministerial positions

President John Mahama has, in accordance with Article 79(1) of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana, reshuffled some of his ministers.

In the latest development, Mr. Alex Segbefia has been assigned a Deputy Minister for Defence.

Mr. Segbefia was Deputy Chief of Staff in the John Evans Atta Mills’ administration

Also, Deputy Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Antwi Boasiako-Sekyere has also been nominated as Minister for the Eastern Region.

The President has also reassigned the following to new ministerial portfolios:

1. Julius Debrah, Eastern Regional Minister is now Minister for Local Government and Rural Development.

2. Yaw Effah Baafi, Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources is now Deputy Minister for Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs.
