President Mahama speaks by phone to Black Stars in Brazil

Minutes before the Black Stars stepped out on the field of play for their crucial World Cup Game against Germany in Fortaleza, President John Mahama made a motivational phone call to the players and encouraged them to go out and win the match.

The President boosted the morale of the team and told them that all Ghanaians and admirers of the Black Stars worldwide will be cheering them on and praying for a Ghana victory. “We are behind you one hundred per cent,” President Mahama said. “You must play to the whistle from start to finish and not concede any goals.”

He urged them to stay alert throughout the entire game. He also inspired them to be confident and determined to win the match.

“You can win. You can do it. You can defeat Germany,” President Mahama further sated.
