Former Vice president Alhaji Aliu Mahama is dead

A sad news reaching 233times is that the former vice president of the Republic of Ghana under the then John Agyekum Kufuor passed away on Friday November 16 at 9:45am at the Cadiothorasic unit of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after going through some short illness.
Alhaji Aliu Mahama was born on 3 March 1946 in Yendi, is 66 years of age and married to Ramatu Aliu Mahama.
Although a politician, his main occupation was a quantity surveyor since he acquired his Bsc in Building Technology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST) from 1967-1971 in Kumasi. He was the vice president of Ghana from 7 January 2001 to 7 January 2009 during the then John Agyekum Kufuour’s regime.
