Nicki Minaj Coming To Ghana A Practical Joke?

Female Rapper “Onika Tanya” (Nicki Minaj) tweeted few days ago that she is “TRYING” to come to Ghana by the end of the year (That’s if the world is not ending as detected by Nostradamus) and she stating “TRYING” to come doesn’t mean she is coming oooo [Not Confirmed], so I beg, you guys should stop making a native Trinidadian American base female rapper’s tweet back a loud NEWS in Ghana as if its confirmed.

That undervalues Ghana and Africa as a whole to the highest point in the eyes and minds of the Diaspora.

She (Nicki) did not just tweet willingly. She was questioned by one of her followers plus I guess it’s a Ghanaian for sure. And for her to be kind of polite to the questioner, she phrased: “SHE” (Nicki) is trying to come to Ghana by the end of this year. Truth be told, she is just trying to make the celebrity hungers in Ghana and Africa as a sum total happy. Besides who knows if “IT’S A PRANK”.

Sometimes we really need to brand and rank ourselves very very well as Africans. Why worship the western entertainment domain? Ghana to be precise has excellent and high quality talented personalities; we have artistes who make good music but we do not push them or appreciate those talents. Sarkodie for example is a Top headlined Ghanaian rapper widely overseas. We should be getting people like other and other celebrities from Ghana up there in the Diaspora to play shows and to promote African music but not we patronizing some girl named “NICKI MINAJ” here in Africa.

We need to be grown guys. Do you think the Americans will promote our culture or our way of entertainment in their world? NO WAY! They are not fools, and because they have noticed we “AFRICANS” do not value our way of entertainment trend, they have decided to make good use of us to uphold Theirs. They see us to be inexperienced all the time but we truly believe we are not with that over here. Africa got talents people. We need to wake up and endorse it big time.
