Rap, which connotes Rhythm and Poetry is an exceptional genre of music that combines a lot of skills to set it apart from other variants.

Ghana’s industry has escalated to a higher height, because of the exceptional pracititioners we have in rap music. And now, we have a new king on the block!

New Hippop/Hiplife artiste, CJBIGGERMAN, has released his debut mixtape album labelled IRED.

21-year old Joshua Christian Jojo, a third year student of the Regional Maritime University, studying Ports and Shipping Administration is tipped to make the waves and gain local and international popularity pretty shortly.

IRED is his first seventeen-track mixtape album released in June 2014. Featuring productions from four producers, IRED gives birth to breathtaking songs including More Vim, Vibes, Asem Beba (Yes/No Refix) and several others.

The burning desire to be a rapper caught up with CJ at a very tender age of six. It has escalated over the years, through to High School, where he won for himself the enviable award of ‘Best Rapper’. Since then, the fat boy has with the speed of light shot himself up to the scene with his dexterity and style.

Songs on the mixtape album have mind-blowing lyrical content and are a true definition of humour, metaphor, rhyme and above all; groundbreak.

In an interview with the charismatic rapper, he reveals that he anticipates doing a collaboration with top notches such as Sarkodie and Stonebwouy, who he has admirred for long.
He also looks up to foriegn artistes like Jay Z, Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
