Tiwa Savage, Sarkodie and other African Acts performed to ‘fake’ crowd at BET Awards?

Year after year, the Black Entertainment Television, the organisers of BET Awards are taken to the cleaners by African Showbiz Pundits and Critics for the inhuman treatments meted out on the African Acts. The latest news emanating from postmortem of the BET Awards is that, even though the African Acts performed like news had it, it was not on that main stage like the Nicki Minaj’s and the likes and that the crowd African Artistes performed to at the ‘BET Experience At LA Live’ were Decorators, Cleaners and Technicians who were working for BET.

Afro Pop Artiste-Imelda J on twitter has blasted Organizers of BET Awards to stop humiliating & treating top African Super Stars like “crap.” According to Imelda, her cousin was among the BET stage technicians that worked on the 2014 BET Awards and the cousin has confirmed that, the African artistes performed and jumped around on stage to a fake crowd—not real fans as it would be expected.
