“Nicki Minaj Says Guiana instead of Ghana. It’s A Lie; she’s not Coming To Ghana” DJ 619 exposes

Rumormongers in Ghana was successful in raising the interest of the fans of Young Money Female Rapper Extraordinaire, Nicki Minaj’s coming to Ghana. Unknown where the circulation originated from, the end of 2011 was circulated with this tittle-tattle that, ‘she is coming to Ghana’.
This rumour followed after American based Artists began adding their names to the annals of performers on the stage at Dome. Fabolous, Rick Ross, Mario, Red Café, Chip Munk among others have their names in the ‘Good Book’ of Ghanaian showbiz. Onika Tanya, Nicki Minaj was alleged to join her colleagues to be marked present in the same book. Countless calls to reputable show organizers by fans demanding to know when the ‘Did it on em’ rapper will arrive at Kotoka International Airport had no relevant answers from all the contacted numbers.
In attempts to find out from an astute showbiz god resident in America to clarify this issue, this reporter settled on one of Los Angeles’ finest presenter, DJ619 who is known to be friends with the management of Nicki Minaj. “Is Nicki Minaj coming to Ghana, DJ619?” was the question. He boldly answered, “She doesn’t even know Ghana, she says Guiana instead of Ghana. Contacting the management of Nicki Minaj, they told me all her shows are booked for United Kingdom (UK) and they have no show in Ghana”, he giggled after his answer. He added that, “Ei, Ghana, who is spreading that at all?”
From DJ 619 who hosts show on Opanin Fm, Los Angeles’ pride, “Nicki Minaj is not coming to Ghana for any performance as at now and unless there will be contact with her management after this story, she is not scheduled to perform in Ghana”
