“I write most of my songs in the bathroom” D Black

On Viasat 1’s show specially reserved for the top echelon masculine citizens of Ghana, Boys Boys, D Black together with Sadiq was grilled by Kojo, the host of the show.

In a revelation, Ghana’s Second BET nominee, Desmond Blackmoree (D Black) revealed the side of him which most people did not know. He posited that, he is still a learner of rap since it is not something he was born with. To D Black, his first song which surfaced on the Musical Stream was not something he carefully planned to do but was “a joke”.

“How will you respond to critics who say D Black is not of a talent but more of a businessman?” the host, Kojo asked D Black of which his response to the question showed how unpleasant his emotion towards the question is. “ It is not something I planned to do just that it came along with life so I’m still a learner though”, the Vera composer answered.

Undeniably, one Artist whose name reckons a business minded ‘showbizer’ is D Black. He is working tirelessly and surprisingly, he has only an album to his resume. The name D Black has sold more than an album and that evidences the hard worker he is.

D Black who revealed again that, most of his songs are written in the bathroom said he even wrote the song with Kwabena Kwabena in the bathroom. How amazing huh?

To his critics, they mention that, possibly, the change of where he writes his music (bathroom) will be a great favour for the light skinned rapper since they find his raps usually basic.
