My mum has cursed Fatau Dauda – ex-fiancée reveals

Football - 2014- World Cup Qualifier Ghana Black Stars Training - AccraLawrencia Abena Wurah, ex-fiancee of Fatau Dauda, has revealed that her mum invoked curses on the Ghana goalkeeper, after snubbing her without a just cause.

Abena Wurah, who claimed dated Dauda during his Ashgold days, has expressed that the shot stopper surprisingly informed her it was over between them when he was selected for the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa.

The disgruntled lady believes her mum decided to curse, the 29-year-old goalie, due to the pain he made them go through after assisting him financially during his playing days in Ghana.

‘I dated Fatau for several years and financially things were not all that good, so my mum and I were really there for him, assisting him in that regard,’ she told Metro fm.

‘However, immediately he was called to join Ghana’s team for the Nations Cup in South Africa, he told me it was over between us, without any good reason.

‘We thought he was joking, but Fatau executed it after the Nations Cup and that really hurt my mum and I and out of pain, cursed him that he would be a bench warmer in his new club then (Orlando Pirates).

‘My mum has indicated that if he doesn’t render an unqualified apology to us for such an ungrateful act, things would continue to be bizarre for him.’

This is the second time the former Okwawa United goalkeeper has been cursed for allegations of being ungrateful in recent times. Blessing Danso an agent, who brokered his deal with Orlando Pirates, invoked curses that until the player decides to pay his 10% of the agreement, thing wouldn’t go well with him.

Fatau Dauda, joined Orlando Pirates from Ashgold in the 2013/14, but ended up warming on the benches of the Buccaneers for greater part of the season, hence he has been loaned to Chippa United also in South Africa for the 2014/15 league season.
