Togolese football star and Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayo is planning to own Ghanaian football Club New Edubiase United. Ghanasportsonline.com has revealed.
The 30-year-old forward according to reports has stated his intentions to take over the Bekwai-based Club in due course.
“Yes there was something like that. They approached us and showed interest. Is an organization owned by Adebayo”.
“But we are yet to hear from them again, so for now the team is still being managed by the management of Edubiase,” bankroller of Edubiase Abdul Salam Yakubu told Ghanasportsonline.com in an exclusive telephone interview.
The former Arsenal, Man City and Real Madrid star has already commissioned a water project in the Northern Region of Ghana and is on the verge of owning a Club in the country.
The 2008 African player of the year who spent most of his childhood days in New town and Kotobabi in Accra staying with his mum seems to have established keen interest in the country, taking Ghana as his second home and always spends time in the country whenever he is on holidays.
