Police Chief Inspector with 284 slabs of wee arrested

25012089_541834In the world of offenses committed, one hardly hear of law enforcers getting caught breaking the law.

However, a Police Chief Inspector by name Paul Akpabli has brought shame upon the Ghana Police Service by attempting to offer protection to a team who were smuggling two hundred and eighty four (284) slabs of marijuana within the Volta Region.

Peace FM managed to speak to DSP Cephas Arthur about the incident and he offered an in-depth revelation about the incident. According to the spokesperson for the Ghana Police Service, on the 10th of August, 20014, Chief Inspector Paul Akpabli was arrested in the company of the ‘wee’ smugglers in a Hyundai car with registration number AS-6936-09.

The patrol team who made the arrest, according DSP Cephas Arthur, searched the car and found seven sack loads of ‘wee’ stashed in the car.

“Chief Inspector Paul Akpabli, was using his might to serve as protection for the smugglers and ensure the illegal substance landed safely into the hands of the importer. We also found out he had taken bribe from them and given them that assurance”, DSP Arthur reveals.
