TV3 Should Treat ‘Hot Gossip’ Viewers Well

With 28,925 likes on Facebook, TV3 should royally treat ‘Hot Gossip’ like SHS boy who is meeting a lady on a first date after 2 years of blind dating. No one needs an alarm to be poked that it is time for Hot Gossip.

Undeniably, this reporter is one ardent fan of the show (Hot Gossip) and strikes all odds to make time to be behind the TV before 5pm. For the past month and more, TV3 has not given viewers a smooth running of the show; they either end it prematurely or give epileptic cuts in between the show.

I wish I would have been wrong bringing the attention of my roommates on the fact that TV3 ends ‘Hot Gossip’ with the eloquent ‘annoying’ presenter, Bridget Babie Dapaah talking. Joseph Wellington Blay, my media critic roommate was eagle eyed on our 14 inch Sanyo TV waiting for the end of the show and hold me by my slim throat and say “Oh you di333, you they always find fault with shows” but he was ashamed by my blatant revelation. Richard Adutu confirmed it when he came into our room and eavesdrop on the issue adding that “then we sef we they talk for room ridee, you people too see eh?” in his hoarse voice.

263412_132348193511780_4334470_nWhen is ‘Hot Gossip’ now shown on TV3? Answer for 10 Cedis credit! That will be a difficult conundrum for many since TV3 changes the time almost every Saturday. First it was 4:30pm, now, errmmmmm, I will find out. Lately, fate magnets me to the show because instinctively, the sound of “did you see Amakye Dede’s pink suit at the GMA?” followed by an irritating laughter has become my ‘ringtone’ on Saturdays.

I am left with no other thought than to conclude that TV 3 has less treatment for ‘Hot Gossip’ viewers if not for that, they would not treat the show like ‘hurry-make-the-next-one-show’ sort of. Being a great fan of the channel that sings my mantra, ‘First in News, Best in Entertainment’; I am left with no other option than to bring to the notice of TV3 cry of the viewers on their hostile ‘Hot Gossip’ treatment. It will be much appreciated if TV3 could detail us on why the erratic running of the show. And mind you, “This is not just a rumour”

I SHALL RETURN!
