NDC’s Allotey Jacobs says no political party can “uproot” corruption

alloteyThe Central Regional Communications Director of the governing National Democratic Congress [NDC], Allotey Jacobs says it will be impossible for any political party to totally eradicate corruption in this era.

According to him, the only option left for this current administration is to minimize the canker since a total overhaul will take time.

He noted that, the Mahama-led NDC administration is showing sustained enthusiastic action with unflagging vitality to fight against corruption in all government institutions.

“The government can only minimize corruption. No party can uproot corruption. This is not about the NDC government. It’s about Ghana…we must all help to fight corruption,” he said.

Discussion the recent shocking but yet factual rot at the National Service Secretariat [NSS] which the Bureau of National Investigations [BNI] uncovered a GH¢7.9 million paid to ghost names by the NSS, the NDC man described the practice as “evil”.

Speaking on Adom FM, Allotey Jacobs, affectionately called “Educated Fisherman” however wants President Mahama to sanction any person found guilty at the NSS rot.

“The National Service Secretariat [NSS] is a kangaroo institution. They behave as if they are above the law,” he opined
