The cause of fire is not yet known but a speculation by eye witness is that, an electrical fault is purported to be the cause. The eye witness who gave his name to www.233times.net as Richmond told this medium upon arrival that, they saw the building emitting smoke and together with his friends, they got closer to see the building housing Aseda FM burning.
It is surprising to know that, only the premises of Aseda FM burnt even though the station is on the 2nd floor of the 2 storey building. Shops in the building were forced to close upon the command of the Ghana Fire Service who arrived at the scene more than 20 minutes after the building gutted fire.
Efforts to speak to owners of the station were unsuccessful but this medium is still pursuing to get the cause of the fire soon.
Doctor Asanka, formerly of Adom FM hosts the Drive Show at Aseda FM 105.9.
