President Mahama finally gives Creative Arts a voice in Governance and Chooses Rashid Pelpuo to Head the Ministry

Finally, the Creative Arts will sigh! After several pools of tears on Governments to get represented in governance, the Creative Arts has been royally embraced by President Mahama who is seen as a colleague in that industry.

Most members of the Industry, dorminated by females had visited the President within last week to congratulate him on his ascension. Gyedu Blay Ambulley as well had call for Minister in Government. These gave a clue to many Ghanaians about a Ministry of such nature. People had suggested several names for the Creative Industry if and only the Mahama-led-Administration gave them an office in governance.

Named Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts which umbrellas Showbiz in Ghana, this Ministry is set to rebrand and also give a ‘vuvuzela’ voice to the Creative Arts Industry in the country.

Though some people argue that Creative Arts should have being a mother Ministry on its own without flirting with the Tourism and Culture which are highly established in the country, others solace in the fact that, half a loaf is better than none.

At long last, the Creative Arts Industry is finally represented in governance ‘proper’.

Bravo to all the never-say-die fighters in the Creative Arts Industry who have fought tirelessly for this to be materialized and to Hon Rashid Pelpuo, all the Creative Arts Industry progenies rest their ‘hunger’ on you.
