Takoradi Poetry Club to perform at W/Region Queen Mother’s fundraising ceremony

The organizers of the most patronized event in Takoradi, Spoken reasons is billed to perform at a fundraising dinner of the Western Region Queen Mothers Association to purchase mobile digital mammography unit.
Breast cancer if detected early could be cured and that is the motivation of the event to help procure the mobile digital mammography unit to help screen women in the region to help curb the chronic disease from the region. The Queen Mothers are anticipating to raise amount in the neighbourhood of GHc 2,000, 000 from the dinner.
Takoradi Poetry Club speaking to www.233times.net expressed their gratitude to the Queen Mothers for giving them the privilege to be part of this great endeavor. They mentioned that, they will put out their best performance on that day. Asking if they will donate to the project, the poets mentioned that, they are in talks as to what they could do.
