“Wo y3 me taste”, the phrase that shot Kwaku Manu into stardom has been his anthem ever since his face become a regular appearance on TV. Now his name is mentioned with several reminisces in his acting roles and ushers fans into uncontrollable giggle.

Kwaku Manu who appeared on the E Talk weekly show a week today poured out some emotions in the interview. Aired on GH One and hosted by Amanda Jissih, the host grilled the Actor in the interview. The host, Amanda Jissih who was inquisitive to know the relationship between the English speaking Actors and Twi speaking ones asked the comedian Actor.

He posited that, some English speaking Actors discriminate against the Twi speaking ones. He recalled that, during one meeting with some Actors and Actresses in the industry, one Actress (he withheld the name) was so full of herself during the introduction to him. When he was introduced to the said Actress, the Actress denied knowing or ever has heard about Kwaku Manu. To him, he was aware the ‘too-known’ Actress was denying as her behaviour was displaying ‘me-I-don’t-watch-such-movies’ sort of. Adding that, as far as every Ghanaian is aware, the Twi speaking movies sells more than the English speaking ones.

To him, “what is human being when we will all be buried in 6 feet?” He mentioned some English speaking Actors and Actresses who are down to earth of which John Dumelo and Roselyn Ngissah’s names featured.

The interview ended with Kwaku Manu displaying his usual comic prowess to the plump host, Amanda Jissih.
