Taxi Driver loses taxi to passenger trickster in Takoradi (PHOTO)

A 23 year old Taxi driver has been robbed of his cab after being outsmarted by a confident trickster at Anaji in the Sekondi / Takoradi metropolis

The cabbie, Frederick Ennin who shuttles between Agona Nkwanta and Fasin in the Ahanta west district of the Western Region tells yours in the indefatigable service of ghana, Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson, the alleged trickster boarded the taxi as one of the passengers from Agona to fasin on Thursday, November, 20

According to him on their way going, the trickster praised him (the taxi driver) for his style of driving upon which he promised to give him another taxi to work with
This made the unsuspecting taxi driver trusted the trickster

He further laments that, the same evening at arround 7pm, the tricker came to the station at Fasin and asked the taxi driver to take him to Anaji in the Sekondi / Takoradi metropolis for which the driver charged 30gh cedis

However, when they got closer to the supposed destination, the trickster asked the Taxi driver to use his 5gh cedis to buy a fried rice for him because he was not having a smaller denominations on him so he would refund it when he alighted

He then left the keys in the ignition and went for the food
However to his amazement, he couldn’t find the Taxi after bringing the food only to be told by some people in the area that the trickster has sped off with the car

Police are still on the look out for the alleged trickster

The said car is a blue and yellow opel Astra B (caravan) with registration number WR 2350-14 and the car owner is Nana Amartey, a resident of Agona Nkwanta
