Ghana winger, Christian Atsu, will be out of action 10 days. A report by the Everton medical team showed that the on-loan Chelsea player suffered a grade one strain.

The 22-year-old picked up a hamstring injury last Thursday during a Europa League match against Krasnodar.

There were fears that injury was a serious one which could have kept him out of action for a long time.

But the latest development comes as good news to fans of the Black Stars since the former Porto player could recover way ahead of time before the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.

Atsu will miss Everton’s match with QPR on Monday night.
