Black Stars coach, Avram Grant has shortlisted 26 players in his provisional squad that will travel to Spain for the pre–Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) camping.
The team will camp in Seville for days before travelling to Equatorial Guinea for the tournament which will begin in a fortnight.
Avram Grant will further trim the squad to 23 players and submit the final squad to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) before January 7, 2015.
Below are the 26 players who made the cut for the camping in Spain:
Goalkeepers: Fatau Dauda, Ernest Sowah and Razak Brimah.
Defenders: John Boye, Jonathan Mensah, Jeffery Schlupp, Samuel Inkoom, Harrison Afful Baba Rahman, Awal Mohammed, Kwabena Adusei and Daniel Amartey.
Midfielders and strikers: Edwin Gyimah, Afriyie Acquah,Agyemang Badu, Mubarak Wakaso, Rabiu Mohammed, Christian Atsu, Solomon Asante,Ibrahim Moro, Andre Ayew, Frank Acheampong, Asamoah Gyan, Kwesi Appiah, David Accam and Jordan Ayew.
The coach is however still observing the injury situation of striker Majeed Waris who was named as part of the initial 31-man provisional squad.
The Black Stars will be based in Spain for ten days before travelling to Equatorial Guinea on January 14, three days before the tournament begins.
The team leaves Accra to Spain today [Sunday] January 4, 2015.
